1. I currently finish my penciled artwork digitally in Adobe Illustrator
2. I rely too heavily on Illustrator to achieve the look I want
3. It takes me far too long to finish a piece because I spend so much time altering the original artwork
Why do I feel the need to alter my artwork so much?
I do not finish artwork before I begin digitally 'Inking'.
I will always have the above problems unless I learn to finish my artwork properly. My art will never progress until I am no longer afraid to commit to a line whether it be pencilled or inked.
The journal INK AND COMMITMENT has made me hungry to learn the art of inking, wish me luck!

DRAW ME SOMETHING!
Admitting that you have a problem is the first step towards solving them!
So here goes
1. I rarely develop my sketches
2. I draw on a small scale
3. I only draw heads
4. I shy away from drawing full figures
There, I have finally admitted it!
To over come these problems I am setting myself a challenge. I am offering the first six people who send me a note with the title DRAW ME SOMETHING! a free drawing of their favourite Dark Horse, Image, Marvel or DC character.
If you have any specific requests for poses etc. just drop me the details in a note, the only condition I am enforcing is that I will not draw any character in a compromising position with no clothes on unless said character is the Invisible Woman.
I dont know how long I will take working on each request but whoever the twelfth person is will be in for a long wait.

Just tell the guys what you want and they will make it happen!
